Hola a todos-

I am feeling very defeated this week by the platforms I post under. I shared this the last two weeks but my content has been getting suppressed. I am struggling to even get 500 views on some of the larger platforms I have! Below you can see some statistics.

If you support what I do please look for my content, I post every day! I think the stories I am talking about are important and should be uplifted.

OF COURSE I am always running up more projects. Here are some other ways to support→

  • We have over 500 supporters on YouTube 😭 you all are amazing. I also posted my first long form video. It didn’t do well but I’d love feedback. I’ll also add it as our 5th story today.

  • I started a new project of growing my audience on TikTok Live. Hoping this helps me with exposure of my content and just growing as a community. Come find me multiple times a week at 4 pm PST

Below are stories of the week 😁

There is a free shirt hidden in here somewhere :)

La Migra Gets Serenated

Did you all notice the clever trend happening lately? People are rebranding protests as "music festivals" to draw more attention to the demonstrations. It's a brilliant way to flip the script, and we recently got to see a perfect example in action.

A local band turned a demonstration into a full-on festival, serenading la migra with an amazing song. It was a powerful reminder that joy can exist in any space, even in the middle of a protest. It's proof that a little creativity and a lot of heart can transform a moment.

Be sure to check out the clip below and show some love to these awesome folks!

ICE Agent Says Quiet Part Out Loud

Did you all catch the viral video that's been making the rounds? In the short clip, a person asked an ICE agent point-blank if he enjoys separating families, and the agent's response was a chillingly direct, "Absolutely."

This brief exchange is a reminder. It goes beyond policy and politics to reveal a disturbing mindset. It shows that these agents know exactly what they are doing, and for some, there is a clear sense of pride in their work. There’s no regret or hesitation.

When we look back at this moment, there's no doubt that this kind of response, and the actions it represents, will be viewed as the wrong side of history.

Former Alligator Alcatraz Employee Shares Conditions

A former employee of the Alligator Alcatraz detention center in Florida has come forward with some deeply concerning information. According to her testimony, the conditions at the facility are horrendous, her description of the place made it sound like more of a concentration camp than a detention center.

This is a contrast to what these places are meant to be: temporary processing centers where people are held for no more than a few days. The fact that conditions have deteriorated to this point is a crime against humanity.

It’s my sincere hope that the people responsible for these conditions will eventually be held accountable.

La Migra Shows Up at Newsome Rally

This week, Governor Newsom held a rally to talk about the gerrymandering efforts by conservatives in Texas. But during the event, a huge number of ICE agents showed up.

For what, exactly? That's the real question.

Honestly, their presence feels like nothing short of an intimidation tactic. It's a deeply concerning move that makes it feel like we are getting closer and closer to a fascist country.

One of the agents was heard saying that they were there to make LA a safer place.

A safer place?

They are kidnapping hard working people! This is wild.

Why Don’t Migrants Just Apply For Citizenship?

A few viral videos are making the rounds, pushed by an influencer of Mexican descent who claims that immigrants simply don't want to pay for citizenship. He says they prioritize things like quinceañeras over getting their papers.

Let me be clear on this.

For the vast majority of people, there are simply no pathways to get your papers. Nobody wants to live in this country without proper documentation. It's an incredibly difficult and often dangerous existence.

What this influencer is doing is using his proximity to the community to push the blame onto people for things that are completely outside of their control. It's a harmful and misleading narrative that shifts focus away from a broken immigration system.

SHAME ON HIM

Personal Update:

This week I was invited to a informal conversation with the chair of the Democratic party. It was a refreshing conversation where I heard someone in power speak truth. We spoke about the narratives going on, what led to the popularity of the current president. We talked about the attack on humanity that we are witnessing right now.

I tend to be very critical of Democrat, and will continue to be, but this reminded me that not everyone in the party is the same. I have been trying to distance myself from politics since my main focus is humanity but in times like this it does feel like we need all hands on deck to defeat fascism.

I’ll keep you all updated though, I till feel very weary but hopeful.
