¡ALERTA! Vota Si en la Proposición 50
Familia, I need to talk to my California voters right now. I know a lot of us are tired of fighting, but we have a crucial, immediate step to take: Vote YES on proposition 50 this November 4th.
This measure, put forward by Governor Newsom, is our direct counter-attack to the gerrymandering garbage coming straight from the top. The President and those in red states are actively redrawing district lines to steal seats in Congress and permanently taking the voice away from voters. This is a clear tactic to cement power and continue the horrendous policies we’re fighting against.
Como no tengo papeles, my voice is limited in this country; I cannot vote, so I’m asking you to use yours. This is one step we can take toward dismantling the unfair, anti-democratic mess that threatens our community. Whether you mail it in or go to the polls, please utilize your vote on November 4th. The fight against fascism is a long road, but this is a critical battle we have to win.
Here is a video in Spanish pa que se lo manden a sus tias y tios.

ALWAYS FILM ICE
I want to talk about the importance of bearing witness. Just recently, we saw a horrible clip of ICE aggressively restraining a migrant on the sidewalk. But the moment a person announced, "I am filming!" the officers immediately stood up and stopped the abuse.
Let me be absolutely clear: this sudden stop was not because they suddenly had a change of heart or decided to be buena gente. It was a direct, calculated reaction to the threat of accountability. They stopped because the camera is their most effective check. This echoes what we saw in my previous video, where ICE agents felt comfortable pointing guns at people who were daring to film them. It shows that documentation is the one thing they truly fear.
In that moment, the person who filmed was able to prevent the situation from escalating further. This is exactly why we must continue to take out our phones when witnessing these interactions.
It is within your legal rights to film any interactions with ICE officials in a public area. We see constant abuses of power, and your phone is a tool for justice. Let's find ways to hold them accountable, one clip at a time.
Porfas share this with your network: documenting abuse is a form of community protection.

The President is Lying about Portland
We are seeing it again: the President is once again spreading blatant misinformation about the "violence" supposedly taking place in Portland, Oregon.
On the contrary, the reality on the ground is far from the "war zone" he describes. While the administration screams about riots, we are seeing images of protestors dancing and peacefully exercising their right to free speech outside federal facilities. Local officials, including governors and judges, have repeatedly refuted the claims that the city is "burning down," noting that the protests are mostly confined to a small area. Here is even a clip of a general from the national guard saying that if they are deployed -they should be protecting the protestors.
Unfortunately, too many people across the country believe these blatant lies. By continuously pushing this untrue, hostile narrative, the President is attempting to justify the deployment of federal forces and ultimately cause escalation and violence where it doesn't need to exist. This political theater is dangerous and is a direct threat to the right to protest.
We have to stay vigilant and share the truth. Don't let their misinformation become our reality.

Personal Update:
The hockey season is back! I am a huge fan of the San Jose Sharks. We may not be that good sometimes but I love it and can be super loyal when I’m into something! Here is a video I made. I’m hoping to bring more of my life into my content to give us a cleanse from the world we are living in!

Myth: Pet insurance doesn’t cover everything
Many pet owners worry that insurance won’t cover everything, especially routine care or pre-existing conditions. While that’s true in many cases, most insurers now offer wellness add-ons for preventive care like vaccines, dental cleanings, and check-ups, giving you more complete coverage. View Money’s pet insurance list to find plans for as low as $10 a month.
