ICE Agent Wants You to Feel Sorry for Him
A few days ago I saw this image of an ICE agent that went viral. Homie was feeling sad that people lately don’t like him. He wasn’t talking about the law. He was talking about his social life.
He shared how his old friends don’t look at him the same way anymore. He talked about how lonely it feels to be judged, how he wishes people would just "remember his character" instead of seeing him through the lens of "politics." He sounded like a man who feels he’s being treated unfairly. He sounded like a man who wants his humanity back.
The irony...
He’s asking for empathy while wearing a uniform that is designed to deny it to others. He wants us to see the "good man" inside the tactical vest, even as that vest represents the very force that knocks on doors in the middle of the night, pulls parents from their children, and treats human beings like numbers in a processing queue.
He wants us to give him the grace that his career path refuses to give our community.
Here is what he, and everyone doing that work, fails to understand: Your character is not a separate entity from your conduct. You cannot spend eight hours a day participating in a system that lacks basic humanity and then expect to be greeted as a humanitarian on Facebook.
If it hurts to be perceived as a monster, the answer isn’t to ask for a "vibe check" from the public. The answer is to take off the uniform. Every single morning, there is a moment of choice. A moment where you look in the mirror and decide that the paycheck is worth the participation.
If he truly wants to be remembered for his character, he can choose to stand on the right side of history. He can join the rest of us. But until then? Don't ask for sympathy for the weight of a uniform you chose to put on.
Shame on those who think their "feelings" matter more than the lives they are actively disrupting.
@senor_barragan Pobrecito 🥲 someone give him a hug #immigration #accountability #lamigra #ice #usa

Liam Ramos Update
Just last month, we saw the true face of "standard procedure" in Minnesota. We saw images of Liam, a 5-year-old boy in a blue bunny hat and a Spider-Man backpack. He wasn't just a bystander; he was used as human bait.
After ICE agents detained Liam and his father outside their home, they didn't take them to a station. They took the boy to his own front door. They told a five-year-old child to knock, to call out for his mother, hoping her maternal instinct would override her survival instinct so they could snatch her, too.
The mother, terrified and pregnant, stayed inside on the advice of neighbors and her husband. Because she wouldn't come out, and because agents refused to leave the boy with waiting community members, Liam was shipped off to a detention center in Texas.
Liam and his father have since been released by a judge who called the government's actions "incompetent" and "cruel," but the nightmare isn't over. The administration is now trying to expedite their deportation, despite the fact that the family is legally in the middle of asylum procedures.
It’s a strange world where the same people who claim to be "pro-child" and "pro-family" are the ones signing off on using a preschooler as a trap for his own mother. It seems their "criteria" for which children deserve protection is very, very narrow.
To the families in our community: Please, be safe out there. Look out for one another.
I’ll keep you updated as this case moves forward.
@senor_barragan I thought they cared about the children? #deportation #children #usa #politics #asylum

ICE Agents Entering Home Without Warrant
Recently, a leaked internal memo (issued in May 2025 but only coming to light now through whistleblowers) revealed that ICE has been instructing agents to ignore the 4th Amendment. The directive claims agents can enter a person’s home to make an arrest without a judicial warrant, relying instead on a simple administrative paper that they sign themselves.
An administrative warrant is not a judicial warrant. It does not give them the legal right to cross your threshold.
In recent viral clips, you can hear agents arrogantly telling families, "We don't need a warrant." This is a lie. It’s illegal. A federal judge in Minnesota recently called out these home entries as unconstitutional, but the agency is still pushing ahead.
They claim to be the party of "law and order," but they are breaking the highest law of the land to carry out these raids. I cannot wait for the day these individuals are held accountable for the laws they are trampling in the name of a paycheck.
If you encounter them, remember what we have talked about. Your knowledge is your armor:
Do not open the door: They cannot enter without a warrant signed by a judge. Ask them to slide any paperwork under the door or hold it up to a window.
Do not answer questions: You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say, even "hello", can be used to build a case against you.
Do not resist: If they illegally force their way in, do not physically fight back. They are looking for any excuse to escalate or add criminal charges. State clearly: "I do not consent to this search," and record the interaction if it is safe to do so.
Please, look out for your neighbors. We are all we have.
@senor_barragan Excuse me? Have y’all heard of the CONSTITUTION #immigration #USA #constitution #inmigracion #latino

Personal Update:
This week, I had the opportunity to sit down with Congressman Eric Swalwell, who is currently running for Governor of California. I asked him the questions that matter to us: How do we rebuild trust in the Democratic party? Where is the accountability for the abuses we see daily?
Thank you for your continued support. It is your backing that opens these doors and allows me to enter these spaces to demand answers. I’m not just there as a creator; I’m there representing this community.
You can see a clip of our conversation below:
@senor_barragan Congressman Eric Swalwell was in the Bay Area today and I got a moment to ask him an important question for those in our communities. Wha ... See more
