Hello everyone, for those who don't know me, my name is Angel. I am an immigrant Mexican man living in the Bay Area.

My mission in life is the uplifting of our historically marginalized communities. My social media work under @Senor_Barragan, which started as a passion project, aims to do that and now has become a second job.

I enjoy bringing awareness and giving our community a voice, but these platforms are unreliable and often work against us. For example, I recently experienced a 70% drop in engagement on one of my profiles in just one month, despite consistently creating relevant content.

That’s why I created this newsletter to keep is informed and connected about important events within our diverse communities.

My goal is to send this out weekly, to loop you all in on everything you might have missed.

I hope you all join me in continuing to advocate for our community.
